Ghiblies episode 2 (ギブリーズ episode 2, Giburiizu episode 2^?) (pronounced with a hard 'G', as in the original Italian) is a 25-minute short which played in theaters on a double-bill with The Cat Returns. This anthology of six digitally created vignettes features the day-to-day activities of the characters that work at the fictitious Studio "Giburi," which happen to look a bit like the staff at Studio Ghibli. Each of the vignettes is animated in a different art style, with character designs by producer Toshio Suzuki and My Neighbors the Yamadas cartoonist Hisaichi Ishii.

Ghiblies Episode 2 is both a continuation and revision of the 2000 NTV television short Ghiblies with a longer running time and better production values for the big screen. Ghiblies Episode 2 was released in Japan on the same DVD with The Cat Returns in 2003.
