The Wonderful World of Puss 'n Boots (長靴をはいた猫 Nagagustu o Haita Neko?) is a feature film by Toei Dōga (Toei Animation Studio) made in 1969, for which Miyazaki worked as a key animator. Miyazaki wrote a manga version of it for the serialization in a newspaper (credited as "by Toei Dōga").

The Story

Based on Charles Perrault's book. Pero, the dandy cat, helps a boy defeat an Ogre and win the heart of a princess.

A paperback about the story and the production of the movie. The manga was reprinted in it. The book is probably out of print.
