The Sampo Color ComputerIt is unknown whether or not the Sampo Color Computer ever actually hit the marketplace anywhere, though it was advertised briefly in the November 1982 issue of "BYTE" magazine, in a special advertising section entitled "Computers in Taiwan". According to the ad, the Sampo Color Computer uses the 6809E CPU, and Extended BASIC -- the same general features found on the Radio Shack Color Computer, though the ad mentions true lower case (lacking in the first Radio Shack Color Computer), and a full-travel keyboard. Sampo (based in Taiwan) is still around today -- though I've had no luck in finding any other mention of this computer, other than this one magazine ad. If anyone knows any more details about this computer, please email me.
