Fan Wish List for Studio Ghibli DVD Contents

This is a wish list of features and extras fans want included on Studio Ghibli DVDs when (we're thinking positively here...) they eventually come out in Japan (though you could apply this to the releases in the rest of the world as well). This wish list is not sponsored by Tokuma Shoten, Studio Ghibli, or Buena Vista International (Disney).

This list was created for the fun of it, though we hope that someone official may notice and take note of the contents of this page. However, we (Team Ghiblink) have no official connection with any of the above companies, so we can't guarantee any official people will notice this list of wishes. Also, some of the wishes listed here are more fanciful than something that could or would actually be included, but hey--it's a wish list!

Also, please remember that adding extras costs money, thereby increasing the production cost of the DVD. This means that more features (especially ones that require new work to be completed) will probably increase the cost of the DVD. These companies are in business to make money, so their first concern will be making a profit.

• Location photos/film used for inspiration in backgrounds and settings
• Virtual tour of the set (neighborhood in "Totoro", Adriatic in "Porco", etc.)

Kaze no Tani no Naushika

• Interview with Miyazaki about the manga
• Include "WotW" release just for comparison

Tenkuu no Shiro Rapyuta
