UCLA Film and Television Archive Presents ``Magical Boys & Girls,'' the First of a Two-Part Series Devoted to Japanese Animation, Jan. 9-24, 1999, in Association With the Japan Foundation. "Kiki's Delivery Service" is a part of the program.

Thursday, Jan. 14 -- 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 17 -- 2 p.m.

Tickets for the film series are available one hour before showtime at the James Bridges Theater. Admission is $6 general and $4 for students and seniors. The theater is located at the northeast corner of the UCLA campus, near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Hilgard Avenue. Parking is available for $5 in Lot 3.

The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston, MA, will be having a week of Japanese films in April 1999. This will include a section on animation, and "Kiki's Delivery Service" (we guess it should be the Disney dubbed version) will be one of them. Final schedule hasn't been out yet, and anything is subjected to changes, so please check MFA's website for the latest information. We will also try to report the schedule here as soon as possible.

The 17th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival is to screen "Kiki's Delivery Service" (Disney's English-dub) at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 12 and at 11:15 AM, Saturday, March 13, 1999 at AMC Kabuki 8 Theaters. Ticket information is available at the official website.

The Japan Society of Boston with Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) will organize a Japanese Anime Festival in April, 1999. The Disney dub version of Kiki's Delivery Service will be shown in Remis Auditorium of MFA, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston under the following schedule:

  • April 18, 1999 (Sun); 2:00pm
  • April 19, 1999 (Mon); 10:30am
  • April 20, 1999 (Tue); 1:00pm
  • April 21, 1999 (Wed); 10:30am
  • April 22, 1999 (Thu); 1:00pm
