Hyperion (the publishing arm of Disney) is going to publish an English
language edition of the "Art of Princess Mononoke". If you check Amazon.
com or the other book websites, they list it as being released in July.
However, that was the schedule when the movie was tentatively scheduled
for a July release. Now that the movie has been rescheduled for Oct 29th,
the book publication date has been pushed back to late Sept. We have
confirmed this by talking to Hyperion itself.

This was prompted by the fact that several people who had preordered the
book through Barnes and Noble were getting notices that the book had
been cancelled. This is wrong. It has only been postponed.

We *think* the confusion came about because originally the book was
going to be a paperback edition, then they changed their mind (and the
book's price) and decided it would be released as a hardback. So there
are two ISBN numbers for this book and apparently Hyperion is cancelling
the earlier ISBN number and this is leading B&N to claim that the book
has been cancelled.
